Christmas Babushkas Homemade Gift Basket

I was inspired by a story I read to my kindergarten children called "Babushka". We were making Christmas decoration in school and everybody is making Jesus and Mary and Joseph and angels and Santa... we wanted to make something different and we made these Babushkas in a basket as a Christmas choir.

For my children.


What's in it?

What did you use for the basket/container and wrapping?

We wanted to use as much as possible recycled material so we used little plastic bottles of fruit, wool, tissue, paper, glue, paint...Some five year old children painted the heads and drew the faces...


Anything else you'd like to share about your gift basket?

All the children love it and were very proud of their beautiful basket. Parents love it to as well as everybody in school.
