I made this correspondence kit gift basket for my sister. She's so incredibly busy that I knew it would be a struggle to get Christmas cards out to her loved ones. I made it easy for her to just jot down a simple sentiment, stick on a stamp, attach the address labels I printed out for her with her address on, and send it in the mail.

What's in it?

- Handmade note cards
- Envelopes
- Stamps
- Return address labels
- Pencils

What did you use for the basket/container and wrapping?

I decorated a simple box using patterned scrapbook paper, a sticker and a strip of fabric for a ribbon.

Anything else you'd like to share about your gift basket?

I love incorporating handmade items along with store bought items in the gift baskets I give. In this basket, the items that were handmade are the note cards and I also printed out return address labels for her. You could also put a little handmade treat inside for the recipient.

I want one

This is such a clever idea, and you've made it so pretty, I love it! I could sure do with one of these myself... I have such trouble getting organized to write cards each year :-)

Anyway, now your sister has no excuses for not writing cards this year.
