Dry Erase Memo Board for Mom
I made my mom a dry erase board for her to write down her "to do" list on. She's always jotting things down on scraps of paper and forgetting where she put it! This way, the memo board can hang in her kitchen and when she needs to write something down, there's the board!
What materials did you use?
- Picture frame from the thrift store - $1.00
- scrapbook paper
- fabric scraps
- dry erase markers
- embellishments
How did you make your homemade Mother's day present?Put your patterned paper inside the frame. Replace the back. That’s pretty much it. :)
Embellish the frame by adding scraps of fabric made into bows, stickers and a tag.
Viola! You're all finished!
Anything else you'd like to share about your homemade Mother's day present? I found an old picture frame from the thrift store for $1.00 and thought it would make a charming memo board for mom. The best part about this project is that it is SO easy to change the paper if mom decides to change her decor, or if she just gets tired of it. So she'll really use it for years to come!
