This homemade gift box keepsake is a gift that any mom, grandmother, aunt or godmother would treasure forever. A fun box that can be left as is or filled with a special something in it for Mother's Day.
What materials did you use?
~ House shaped Tin Box
~ Script style and Music papers
~ Prima and dried flowers
~ Crystals
~ Small bottle with cork
~ Pearls
~ Glitter
~ Melissa Frances resin keyhole and rub-on transfers
~ Chipboard frame and heart
~ Distressing inks
~ Ribbons and Trims
~ Gem Broach
~ Punched Butterflies
~ Small photo
~ Aileen's Tacky Glue
~ Hot Glue Gun
How did you make it?
Adhere distressed papers to outside of tin. {If you can't find a tin house shaped box, you can use ready made wooden, chipboard or paper style houses found in craft stores.} Add ribbons and trims along the sides, top and bottom of house. Embellish as desired. I took a sepia photo of my children and adhered it to a chipboard frame, which I inked brown, and adhered to front of house to act as a window with the kids looking out of it.
