Homemade Recipe Holder

This is a super quick, extremely inexpensive and fun gift to make! It's a recipe holder made with a tray from the dollar store (Yes! The dollar store!) and buttons made into magnets to hold the recipes into place. Now Mom has a fun recipe holder to hold all of her favorite recipes!

What materials did you use?

  • tray- Dollar Store
  • buttons
  • magnets
  • recipe cards

How did you make your homemade Mother's day present

Attach small round magnets to the back of buttons using glue and let dry. While the buttons are drying, write down a few of your favorite recipes onto recipe cards. Attach recipe cards to tray using buttons.

That's it! You're all finished!

Anything else you'd like to share about your Mother's day present?

You could also spray paint the tray a color to match your mother's kitchen.

At the dollar store, there were a few different shapes and sizes of trays. Why not make a few to give to all the friends, grandmas and mothers that you honor in your life. They're inexpensive, quick and thoughtful. Who wouldn't love some yummy recipes! ;)

Recipe Cards
by: Rebecca K

Sorry it took me so long to respond! :) The recipe cards are from Melissa Frances and are called "Kitschy Kitchen Handmade Recipe Cards". I found mine here- http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/the-34963/Melissa-Frances-KITSCHY-KITCHEN/Detail

but I'm sure if you googled "Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen Recipe Cards", a lot of sites would pop up that sell them. Hope that helps! :)
