Make a Mothers Day Card
For Your Mom

Make a Mothers Day card for your Mom to wish her a Happy Mothers Day. This design is quick and easy to make, and looks so pretty!

All you need is a few scraps of fabric, less than 20 minutes, and to follow these simple instructions. I am sure your Mom will love it!

Equipment

• scrap fabric
• scizzors
• needle and thread
• a button
• craft glue
• card stock

Make a Mothers Day Card: Step by Step

Trace out three different sized circles onto the back of your fabric and cut them out. I used the base of a small bowl, glass and a mug! Just use whatever you have handy.

You want the biggest circle to be no bigger than the width of your card.

Fold each circle of fabric in half, and then into thirds.

Now cut the top of your fabric into a curved-shape. This will give your flower its petal shape.

Experiment with the angle of the curve to get different shaped flower petals.

Now layer your flowers so that the largest is on the base, and the smallest on top.

Sew a button into the center of the top layer, and then sew the three layers together at the center.

Now you are ready to attach your fabric flower to the front of your card. I used all purpose craft glue to do this.

Smear some glue onto the front of your card, and then press your flower down onto the glue.

And voila, a homemade Mothers day card for your Mom!
