Money Bouquet
My mother is a simple woman. She doesn't wear jewelry, fancy clothes or go to the salon. She just loves to make her family happy and serve God by being active in the church and help new Christians with their new life.
My mother always says flowers are a waste of money. If I want to give her flowers, to give her the money instead. Well I looked up how to make a dollar bill into a flower and made her a flower money bouquet. Now she can have both, flowers and money. Also, a picture says a thousand words. I framed a picture of us having fun in the sun at my little brothers baseball game.
To make the flowers, I looked up how to make an origami money flower out of a dollar bill. Each flower is made up of three dollars. After the flowers were folded, I put on a yellow jewel in the middle of each flower to make them sparkle. I then took thin green wire and tied the flowers to fake flower stems (I bought fake flowers and cut off the flower head) To add color, I added some fake pink flowers from the dollar store. To keep them standing, I pressed the stems into styrofoam then added green beads to the bottom.
This money bouquet has $20 dollars worth of flowers (one flower is made of only two dollars). Then $6 dollars for the craft material. Flower bouquets are on average $50 dollars, this was half the price and the flowers don't die. Why put money in a card when you can put money in a bouquet? Mom's love homemade gifts, especially when they're useful :)
