Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Everything exposed by the light becomes visible-and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Negative emotions like jealousy, angst, and bitterness act like a cancer in our bodies and make us sick. When our heart is at peace, it gives our bodies a chance to rest, heal, and fulfill God's purposes.
John 13:34-35 | Love One Another
"I give you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, so you also must love each other. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, when you love each other."
This verse contains one of the most important commands given to followers of Christ. It reminds us to enter the new year with your heart filled with love: not only for your family and friends, but for your enemies too. It is one of the most powerful actions we can take.
Colossians 3:9-10 | Become Better Every Day
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Humility and anxiety are just like fire and water: it is impossible for them to exist at the same time. When we humble ourselves, surrender, and ask God for help, it dissolves our anxiety.
2 Corinthians 13:11 | Rejoice and May Peace be With You
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
If we desire peace, then we must become peacemakers. If we wish to have love, then we must receive God's love and share it with others. If you wish the world to be restored, restore yourself in God's image. In the new year, be the change you wish to see.
