Crafts with Your Halloween Coloring Pages
Now that you have some Halloween-themed coloring pages, you can think about decorating and crafting for Halloween as well! Your Halloween coloring pages may even help you with some of these craft projects.
Classic Lollipop Ghosts
This craft is as classic as they come. I remember doing it in school as a kid. It’s both a trick and a treat! All you need is a lollipop, a white tissue, and a bit of ribbon or string. Wrap the lollipop tightly in the tissue or tissue paper. Tie it off just under the head of the lollipop and you’ll have a simple, cute ghost who’s hiding a sweet treat!
Handprint Spiders
Create creepy, crawly decorations for home or school with your own handprint and some scissors. Trace your handprint on black construction paper, then cut it out. You’ll want two handprints so you can connect them at the palms. The fingers will become the spider’s legs. Add some googly eyes to give your spider a funny face.
Pinecone Bats
Our Halloween coloring pages feature lots of bats, but you can create a few to fly around your home using little more than a pinecone you find outside. Simply collect some pinecones, then use black construction paper to make some wings for your critters. Add eyes and fangs for a face, or cut out bat faces from our Halloween coloring pages. You can attach a string if you want to hang them from the ceiling to make them fly.
Paper Plate Pumpkins
Grab a few paper plates and some orange paint! Paint your paper plates orange first, then add on your pumpkin face. There are lots of ways to do this. You can glue on things like eyes and a mouth made of construction paper, you can use 3D elements like pipe cleaners and googly eyes, or you can cut out pumpkin faces you find in our Halloween coloring pages and paste those on. There’s no wrong way to make your paper plate pumpkin designs!
