Ghost Coloring Pages for Kids and Adults

Look through our boo-tiful gallery of ghost coloring pages to find your favorite. Ghosts can be tricky to color, since the classic ghost shows up in a white bed-sheet (otherwise you'd see right through it!), but others interpret ghosts as being translucent spirits. I challenge you to get creative with how you color your ghost printables: Are they in a flower printed sheet? Does their spirit shine with a certain color? Or are you ready to get crafty with shading the folds of their fabric? Remember, not all shadows are black and white!

Easy Ghost Craft Ideas

Ghosts are such a staple of Halloween. Who can resist wanting to do more than just color them? Here are some great ghostly crafts for decorations or simply for fun.

Make Ghosts That Can Really Fly

You can make ghosts that actually fly – and it’s super simple. All you need is a paper cup, markers, a string, and some tissue paper. Flip the cup upside down. This will be the body of your ghost, so this is where you want to draw on a face (perhaps by using our ghost coloring pages as inspiration or guides).

Then you will glue long strips of tissue paper around the lip of the cup so they hang down. Finally, attach a string to the top of the cup so you can hang your ghost somewhere. The tissue paper will make him look like he’s really flying.

Turn Fall Leaves Into Ghosts

Halloween probably means the leaves are falling wherever you live. Don’t simply rake them up and throw them away. They can become ghost buddies just like the ones on your ghost coloring pages!

Collect a couple nice big leaves so you have room to work. After painting them white, draw on a face with markers. Since leaves are so light, you can hang them up somewhere or use them as part of other Halloween decorations.

Create Classic Lollipop Ghosts

We can’t talk about ghost crafts without mentioning the king of classic ghost crafts – the lollipop ghost. Perhaps you did this one in school when you were a kid. Well, there’s no reason not to bring it back to delight your own children.

As you probably know, all you need is a lollipop, a tissue, and a bit of string. Wrap the lollipop in the tissue and tie it off with string. The head of the lollipop is now the head of your ghost, where you can doodle a friendly ghost face.
