I love haunted houses, and these haunted house coloring pages keep me going all year long! I can't get enough of thrill of wondering what’s around the next corner and what sort of scary things people come up with. Creepy noises, jump scares, masked actors; don't get me started on haunted hayrides, scary movies, corn mazes, and monsters. The best part about these haunted house coloring pages is that they capture all the fun and festive vibes of Halloween without having to leave (your own 👀) house!

Haunted House Coloring Pages DIY Crafts

What’s that? You’ve printed off all our spooktacular haunted house coloring pages and now you don’t know what to do with them? Don’t be scared! Check out some of our awesome crafts to take your printables to the next level.

Light It Up!

The scariest part about haunted houses is how eerie they can seem from the outside. Are they scarier with the lights on? Add lights to your haunted house coloring pages to either ease your mind or give the ghosties some lights to play with!

For this craft you’ll need a shadow box, LED lights or tea lights, and your colored in haunted house. Feel free to cut out little light spaces in the windows if you’d like. Place your haunted house page in the shadow box after deciding where to place your tea lights or LED lights, turn on and enjoy!

Write Your Own Haunted House Tale

I like to write short stories in my journal whenever I can. Gain inspiration for your scary story while you’re coloring. Who do you think used to live there? Could it be haunted? Are they silly ghosts? Don’t worry if the story isn’t long—some of the best stories are short, sweet, and to the point! Remember, the best part about combining coloring pages to words is bringing the story to life.

Build Your Own Haunted House

Use our haunted house coloring pages as inspiration for creating your very own home! We can see the front of the house in these pages, but what’s on the inside? Use your imagination and draw a floor plan for your new home. Next, paste the haunted house printable on a cardboard box (either shoebox or bigger) and create a model complete with cardboard walls, doors, and windows. As a final touch, use paint or markers to color the walls and other elements to your heart’s desire. Use toys for furniture to make your haunted house, a haunted home!

Haunted House Jack-o’-Lantern

Love our haunted house printables and want to truly bring them to life? Use our drawings as a stencil! Jack-o’-lantern carving is a tradition in my family—complete with a showcase and competition as to whose is the best. Up your game by using our outline as a guideline.

First, decide what parts of the design that you’d like to keep, then cut it out (this will help you tape the design to the pumpkin). Fasten the image, ink side out, to your prefered area of the pumpkin. Next, take a pencil trace with a heavy hand to make a small imprint on the pumpkin. Remove the coloring sheet and carve away!

Monster Coloring Pages

Why are we afraid of haunted houses? Probably because even though we know they might be actors or illusions, we're still a little convinced there might be monsters inside. Bring your Halloween fears to life with our monster coloring pages. Don't worry! We have as many cute monsters in our collection as we do creepy ones!
