Witchy Crafts to Decorate for Halloween
If our witch coloring pages have you in the mood for Halloween mischief, these witchy crafts will seal the deal. Whether you’re going for a gothic witchcraft aesthetic or cute witchy fun, these crafts can help you get ready for a magical adventure.
Make a Witchy Wand
No witch is complete without her wand. Get the kids involved in making their own wands that they can use for a Halloween costume or decoration. All you need for a wand is a small stick that you can find in the backyard. Use wire, thread, and twine as decoration. You can string beads onto your thread and wire for an even fancier wand. Look to the witch coloring pages here if you need some design inspiration!
Use a Cauldron for Halloween Candy
What’s Halloween without candy? But you can do so much better than any old bowl in your kitchen for giving out candy. Instead, use a cauldron! Some craft and Halloween stores will sell you a cauldron, of course, but you can also make one by repainting an ordinary round planter and decorating it with things like skulls, gems, and fake spiderwebs.
Decorate a Witch Hat to Display or Wear
Every witch needs her hat! Many of the witches in our witch coloring pages have witch hats, but your kids might want one of their own. You can buy one and decorate it, or you can make a hat out of felt. This does require a little sewing. Mom may need to sew the side seam of the cone and then attach the wide brim. Afterward, you can decorate with witchy accessories like glitter, spiders, and plants. Go for a spooky witch or a plant witch or any other type of witch you want to be!
