Christmas Bingo
Last updated: October 9, 2026 by the Homemade Gifts Coloring Team
Come December, you’ll find most kids starting to count down the days until Christmas and getting excited about every little Christmas tradition. A Christmas bingo game allows me to lean into that excitement in the classroom with an activity that feels festive and inclusive. Christmas Bingo celebrates the familiar sights of the season, like candy canes, jingle bells, gingerbread men, and even ugly sweaters!
By the time Christmas rolls around, kids are typically more than ready for a change of pace. A few rounds of the Christmas Bingo game can fill that awkward pocket of time before a classroom party, give cousins something to do while the adults catch up, or turn a quiet afternoon at home into a little holiday competition. It fits right in at classroom holiday parties, family gatherings, neighborhood celebrations, or a cozy night in during the holiday season.
Christmas Bingo Cards
Sometimes you’re playing with a few kids around the kitchen table, and other times you’ve got an entire classroom ready to join in. These Christmas Bingo printables come in packs of 4, 8, and 20, with individual cards available to print whenever you need an extra. Put on your favorite Christmas carols, gather everyone around, and see who can fill their card and shout BINGO first!
These printables are for personal, non-commercial use only.
Christmas Bingo Game FAQs
Have a few questions before the Christmas Bingo festivities begin? We’ve got the answers wrapped up and ready to go, so there’s no need to check your list twice!
What is Christmas Bingo?
Christmas Bingo takes the traditional Bingo game most kids already know and fills the cards with things they recognize from the holiday season. Players might be searching their boards for Santa, Christmas trees, snowflakes, hot cocoa, or other Christmas favorites as each picture is called. It’s a seasonal activity that works just as well with a few family members as it does with a classroom full of holiday-spirited kids.
What Do You Need for Christmas Bingo?
You don’t need much to get a Christmas Bingo game going–just printed bingo cards, something to cover the spaces, and a caller to draw or announce each picture. For markers, try red and green candies, mini marshmallows, Christmas erasers, or festive pom-poms. Prizes for the Bingo winner can be just as seasonal, with candy canes, Christmas stickers, holiday pencils, or hot cocoa packets.
How Can You Play Christmas Bingo In The Classroom?
Christmas Bingo can fit into all kinds of classroom activities during the weeks before winter break. Set up a Bingo table as one of your Christmas party stations, pair students with their older or younger buddy class, or put a small set at a center and let students rotate through as players and callers. It also works well after a class read-aloud, during a snowy indoor recess, or when you have 15 minutes to fill between holiday activities.
