Collect and Measure Rainfall
You can enjoy this activity at home or school. It’s super simple. The hardest part is making sure the weather cooperates. Try setting up a rain catcher with nothing more complicated than a clear glass mason jar. If you like, you can also use some rubber bands to attach coffee filters over the top to filter the water. Then, after a good rain, simply use a ruler to measure how much rain you've collected.
Go on a Nature Walk
