Free Printable Godzilla Coloring Pages

These Godzilla coloring pages are for you, if you also happened to grow up loving the gigantic reptilian monster like I did, or even if you've just found it. What’s not to love about Godzilla emerging from the sea to smash through cities and battle King Kong, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and more? Personally, this is where my love for monster movies began.

Free Printable Godzilla Coloring Pages

Godzilla has stood the test of time. With its first appearance in Japan in 1954, it's considered to be the first radioactive superhero. The emergence of this gigantic sea monster came into pop culture due to the fear of nuclear attacks after Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Today, despite the action-packed Hollywood renditions, Godzilla remains a symbol of a force that is beyond human control and how we try to maintain our humanity.

What to Do With Your Godzilla Coloring Pages

Are you wondering what you could possibly do with your Godzilla coloring pages? Well, look no further, we have some great ideas!

Godzilla-Themed Coloring Book

Print out our free Godzilla-inspired coloring pages and color them to your heart’s desire! One of my favorite things to do when I find a great coloring pack is to print out as many as I can, even multiples, so that I can try out everything. Don’t limit yourself to just one medium, either. Grab some crayons, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils, graphite, and get coloring.

Once you’re done, punch holes, and put them in a binder for safe-keeping (or skip the holes and place them in a sheet protector). Sometimes, before I store them away, I might show off my works of art and put them in frames around the house. And if they’re super awesome, then they’re fridge-worthy!

Godzilla Collage Attack!

Time to pull out the scissors and start cutting out your favorite Godzilla images. When regular old coloring pages aren’t keeping up with my imagination, I’ll cut out my fave images and paste them in new scenes. What about Godzilla battling another Godzilla (or another three)? Color and paste these images into a new scene and create your own Godzilla story.

Don’t forget that it is completely acceptable to print out multiples, create a whole storybook, and share your fanfic with your friends and family. Add your own backgrounds to match your story and expand your imagination!

Godzilla Birthday Invites

Print out your favorite Godzilla image and have your little (or you!) color it in. Next, scan in the image or take a photo yourself and download it into an app such as Canva (or another editor) and create your own invite! Don’t forget to add time and place.

If you have a printer at home, fantastic! But if not, head to your local printing location or check the app you used to create the card. Some applications actually have a print and ship option, which I am quite fond of. However, I have also printed off my own invitations on cardstock, slid them into a fancy envelope, and sent them all the same. For even more fun, color in each invitation yourself, that way you don’t have to decide on just one design.

Bookmark a Monster Story With Godzilla

I’m a total bookworm, so I typically reach for the first thing I can find to mark my page. I’m not a page creaser, though, so I need a good, sturdy bookmark. Here’s where we can combine our collage skills with our computer skills. When I make a bookmark, I download all the cool, free printables we have, and then shrink them down onto the same page to print. Order doesn’t matter here, just your preferred size!

Print out your Godzilla shrunken images, color, cut, and paste onto a sturdy piece of cardstock. Feel free to shape your bookmark however you want—even into a gigantic reptilian monster like Godzilla! Hole punch the top of your bookmark and add a tassel for even more fun.
