Grinch Coloring Pages Crafts and Coloring Tips
Looking for some festive fun for the classroom or at home? Our Grinch coloring pages crafts and coloring tips are perfect for a snowy day or Holiday party fun!
Disguise a Grinch!
The Grinch and his buddy Max are up to no good, but they can’t pull off their plan without the perfect disguise. Will he be a firefighter, a football star, or maybe even a surfer? You get to decide!
Print your favorite Grinch coloring page and transform him and his friend Max with markers, crayons, fabric, feathers, or anything else you can find to hide him in style.
Grinch Paper Bag Puppets
Bring the characters of Whoville to life for storytime with a Grinch paper bag puppet. This festive craft is perfect for storytelling and imaginative play!
Print and color your favorite Grinch face, then glue it onto a paper bag. Turn the bag green with markers or paint, and add fun details like googly eyes, green fur, or even a Santa hat. Don’t forget Cindy Lou Who and Max puppets to create a full scene!
Pin the Heart on the Grinch!
Here's a game for the classroom or at home. Enlarge and color your favorite Grinch coloring page, then hang it on the wall. Create red paper hearts by folding construction paper in half, cutting a half-heart shape, and opening it to reveal a full heart. Blindfold each player and let them try to place the heart on the Grinch’s chest. Whoever gets the closest wins a prize!
Grinch Ornaments
Print and color your favorite Grinch coloring pages, then cut out characters or scenes and glue them onto cardboard or cardstock. For extra durability, laminate them. Punch a hole at the top, thread ribbon or twine through, and tie a bow—creating ornaments you can enjoy for many Christmases to come!
Festive Coloring Tips: What color is the Grinch?
The Grinch is famously green! In the Dr. Seuss' book How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, the Grinch is black-and-white with red accents, but for the 1966 animated special, animator Chuck Jones decided to make the Grinch green, inspired by the rental car that he drove when meeting Dr. Seuss.
