Angel Crafts
You can do more than color if you want to bring a few guardian angels into your life. Here are some simple crafts you can do with your kids and display all around the house.
Popsicle Stick Angel
All you need for this one is some construction paper and popsicle sticks. The popsicle stick will be the body of your angel. You can use construction paper to make a head, or cut out a head from among our angel coloring pages. There are a ton of choices for the wings, depending on how fancy you want to get. Anything from a coffee filter to construction paper to tissue paper can become elegant angel wings.
Coffee Filter and Pipe Cleaner Angels
Speaking of coffee filters, you can use them to make your whole angel. Fold your coffee filter in half. Some people use multiple to make their angel a bit sturdier. This is the body for your angel. Then you’ll need pipe cleaners. Gold is a good choice because it makes great halos. Tie off the top of the angel, as you would with a lollipop ghost, to make the head. You can easily add a halo and gold wings with pipe cleaners. Perhaps you even want to decorate your beautiful angel’s dress!
Paper Bag Angel
You can take this one along with you. All you need is a paper bag. Bonus points if it’s white. Then get your construction paper or angel coloring pages so you can make a face and wings. The best part of this one is that after decorating it it’s still functional. Your children could take these bags to school with their lunch in them.
