Moana Coloring Pages
Last updated: September 25, 2025 by the Homemade Gifts Coloring Team
Time to set sail to Te Fiti with these awesome Moana coloring pages! I’m not going to lie, I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time laughing at Hei Hei and singing along to the Moana soundtracks in the car. These Moana coloring pages are the perfect pairing for a marathon with the kids or anytime you need some wayfaring adventure!

I’m not going to spoil the movies for you guys here, but these beautifully told stories about Moana and her journey to save her people alongside the demigod Maui, have stolen the hearts of kids and adults alike. Are you ready to explore the sea with Maui and Moana, Tamatoa, Kakamora, and the dynamic duo—Hei Hei and Pua?
Moana-Inspired Coloring Pages
Break out your favorite art supplies, throw on one of the amazing Moana movies (we’ve got two to choose from now!), and roll up your sleeves to get coloring. I know I won’t have to use Maui’s hook to snag you into these free drawings inspired by Moana. Let’s go!
These printables are for educational or personal (non-commercial) use only.
Get Crafty With Moana!
So you’ve printed off your Moana coloring pages, and now you don’t know what else you could possibly do with them? Well, look no further; we have some pretty cool ideas on how you can use them!
Create Your Own Name Plaque
This fun craft does require some help from an adult if you are a little one, but it’s worth it! For this craft, we will need wooden letters that spell your name, mod podge, scissors, coloring utensils, and Moana coloring pages.
Our first step is to print, color, and cut out our favorite images. Next, arrange your images on the fronts of the letters, much like if you were doing a collage. Then use some of the mod podge to glue your images to the wooden letters. You may choose to have the images wrap around the letters, or simply cut off the excess after gluing. Finally, paint over the images with the mod podge to seal your letters. That’s it! Feel free to hang them individually or on a plaque, or simply place them on a dresser!
Make a Gift Tag!
Unfortunately, I am infamous for my lack of tags on gifts. I have a bad habit of using a sharpie on wrapping paper. Fortunately, we can break this bad habit together. You’ll need your coloring utensils, scissors, twine, a hole punch, and of course a printable Moana coloring page.
Our first steps are to print (preferably on card stock), color, and cut out our favorite images. Next, we’re going to punch a hole and tie a bit of twine to create a tag for our wrapped or bagged gift. If you’re attaching your tag to a bag, write the name of the recipient and your name on the back of your colored image before you tie it around a handle. You can also choose to simply tape your image to the wrapped gift, but write the names on the front of the image instead. Put the final touches on your gift by adding a bow!
Stickers, Stickers Everywhere!
Who doesn’t love stickers? This easy craft, is one of my favorites. Stickers are one of the best ways to adorn pretty much anything you want—a journal, a gift, a bookmark, or even yourself. I prefer to print my own stickers with sticker paper (found at an office supply store) and then color them in with markers.
Once you’ve printed your Moana coloring page images onto sticker paper, color them in with your markers, cut, and then feel free to stick them everywhere your heart desires. For example, I like to create little scenes and then tell a short story to my toddler—well, when he isn’t hogging the stickers, that is!
Moana-Inspired Coloring Book
A good coloring book can be hard to come by. Print all of our free printables and get carried away with your favorite medium. I have always been partial to colored pencils, so every once in a while, I’ll print off a bunch of our images and have a creative day. If you’re feeling artsy, try to do a bluescale, a monochromatic, or a warmscale. Don’t tie yourself down to only coloring a certain way—Moana and Maui can be purple if you want!
Once you're done with your images, place them in a sheet protector or punch holes and put them in a binder for safekeeping. Pro tip: If you don’t want a thousand little binders everywhere, collect all of your similar coloring book images. Put them into a bigger binder, and place tabs where the images change from Moana to your other favorite princesses.
