Summer Beach Coloring Page Crafts to Do With the Kids
Don’t be idle in between those beach trips! Besides beach coloring pages, you can do a bunch of other summer crafts with the kids. Here are a few of our favorites.
Make a Seashell Frame
While you’re having a fun beach day, be sure to collect some seashells. You can turn them into a beautiful picture frame. Either leave them plain or paint them some fun, bright colors. Maybe you can take some inspiration from the way you’ve colored your beach coloring pages.
After the paint is dry, just glue them onto a simple, plain picture frame. You can even frame your beach coloring pages if you like!
Use Your Coloring Skills for Tape Art
This is a really fun craft for the whole family. You can get a cheap canvas at a craft store that’s already prepped and ready to use.
But before you bust out the paints, go get some painter’s tape. Tape lines on your canvas. You can do stripes or tape in random patterns for a cool, funky, geometric kind of design. Paint while the tape is still on, then carefully peel it off. The negative space created by the tape will make for a super interesting and fun painting.
Make a Paper Boat to Sail in the Water
While you’re on the beach, you can make a boat to sail among the waves. You can either use your beach coloring pages for a colorful, funky boat or a plain piece of paper. You might want to sail it in a pool so you don’t lose it.
