Valentine's Day Bingo
Last updated: October 28, 2026 by the Homemade Gifts Coloring Team
Valentine’s Day has its own little traditions. Kids carefully choose cards for their classmates, sweet treats find their way into backpacks, and kind notes remind everyone how much they’re appreciated. There’s always a little extra excitement in the air, especially in a classroom! Valentine's Day bingo adds another activity to the celebration, giving everyone a chance to gather around, enjoy a little friendly competition, and see who can fill their card first.
Our free printable Valentine's bingo cards are filled with candy, teddy bears, flowers, and more to love. The picture-based game works well for kids of different ages, since there’s no reading required to follow along. As each new picture is called, players can search their cards, cover matching spaces, and keep an eye out for the winning combination!
Valentine's Bingo Cards

Our free printable Valentine bingo game comes in packs of 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, or 20 unique cards. Each pack includes the bingo cards and a call list, so one person can call out the pictures while everyone else plays. Valentine's Day Bingo Game
Ready to play Valentine bingo but have a few questions? Find out how to play, what to use as markers, and a few ways to change things up between rounds.
How Do You Play Valentine Bingo?
Give each player a Valentine bingo card and something to cover their spaces. Choose one person to be the caller and have them announce the pictures in random order, one at a time. Players search their cards and cover any matching pictures. The first person to complete five spaces in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally calls out “BINGO!” and wins. The heart in the center is a free space, so everyone starts with one spot already covered.
What Can You Use as Valentine Bingo Markers?
You don’t need traditional bingo chips to play! Conversation hearts, small heart-shaped erasers, pink and red pom-poms, or paper hearts cut out of construction paper all work as Valentine’s Day bingo markers. For a reusable option, laminate the cards and let players mark their spaces with dry-erase markers.
What Are Some Different Ways to Play Valentine Bingo?
Once everyone has mastered the traditional five-in-a-row game, try changing the winning pattern! Challenge players to cover all four corners, create an X across their card, or fill the entire board for a blackout round. For a cooperative game, challenge the whole group to complete their cards before the caller reaches the end of the list. These variations are especially useful when you’re playing multiple rounds and want to keep things interesting.
What Are Some Valentine Bingo Prize Ideas?
Keep the Valentine’s Day theme going with small prizes like heart-shaped stickers, colorful pencils, mini notebooks, Valentine erasers, or little bags of candy. You could also hand out printable Valentine’s Day bookmarks or coloring pages. If you’d rather skip physical prizes, let the winner choose the next bingo pattern, become the caller, or pick a favorite song for a quick dance break between rounds.
