Duck Coloring Pages

The waddling, the quacking, those fluffy little ducklings following close behind their mama–what’s not to love about ducks? In my experience, familiar animals are always a hit with younger kids, and ducks are no exception! If your child is anything like my nieces and nephews, they’ve probably been practicing animal sounds since they could first say “quack!” These duck coloring pages give them a chance to spend a little more time with an animal they already know and love.
For toddlers and young kids, coloring is a great chance to practice holding a crayon, making different marks, and working on fine motor skills. Print a duck coloring page for a quiet afternoon or keep some nearby for whenever your little one is ready to reach for the crayons.

These duck coloring pages are for personal, non-commercial use only.
Easy Duck Craft Ideas
Keep the duck theme going with a few crafts that don’t require an extra trip to the store for special supplies. After they're done coloring, kids can turn their ducks into something a little more creative using everyday materials like paper, glue, cotton balls, paint, and crayons.
Duck Pond Craft
Begin by printing and coloring your favorite duck coloring page. Once it’s complete, cut the duck out, then glue the duck onto a blue piece of construction paper to create its own little pond. Kids can add grass, lily pads, clouds, or even a few more ducks to complete the scene.
Fluffy Duckling
The best kind of duck is a fluffy duckling! Give your duckling some extra fluff by gluing cotton balls on the duck’s body after coloring the rest of the picture. Kids can pull the cotton balls apart to create smaller and softer pieces that are easier to glue onto the page.
Rubber Duck Painting
Put that rubber duck to work outside the bathtub! Pour a little washable, non-toxic tempera or finger paint onto a paper plate, then let kids dip the bottom of the rubber duck into the paint and stamp little duck prints across a piece of paper. When you’re finished, rinse the paint off the rubber duck first, then back into the bath it goes! Your little artist can finish cleaning up both themselves and their duck.
