Homemade Food Gifts

homemade food gifts

Homemade food gifts are always appreciated. People say that "the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach" ...from my experience it is the best way to any person's heart...there are a lot of women out there who love to eat nicely made food too!

The great thing about giving a food gift is that you know it will be enjoyed. Food gifts are not left to gather dust in a cupboard, but are usually eagerly consumed within days (or minutes) of being received!

On this page I have started to collate a list of easy-to-make, tasty homemade food gift ideas. Delicious cake and biscuit recipes, preserves, homemade gifts in a jar, romantic chocolate dipped strawberry recipes, and more.

All recipes have been thoroughly tried and tested by me and my many willing family members!

Fruit mince pies are also one of my favourite treats at Christmas time, although I don't think this is a North American tradition. This is a super easy recipe perfect for those short on time, and they taste delicious

Chocolate bark (or brittle as some people call it) is such a quick and easy gift idea and perfect for the Christmas season, especially for popping in a homemade Christmas gift basket!
